Florida Georgia Line to help raise money for food bank

This summer, Florida Georgia Line will be in concert for a good cause. The Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee announced on February 25 that the country duo will perform at the 10th annual Stars For Second Harvest benefit concert at the legendary Ryman Auditorium. This will be the band’s third year on the main stage, and they couldn’t be happier about it.

Brian Kelley said:

We’ve been so incredibly blessed this past year and have always wanted to make it bigger than the music. To have the opportunity to give back and help feed the hungry in our community is an honor.

The food bank, which is one of the largest nationwide, provided nearly 20 million meals from 2012 to 2013. After the 2013 benefit event featuring Florida Georgia Line, The Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee was able to provide 400,000 meals. Obviously, Florida Georgia Line’s presence at the Stars for Second Harvest event helped to draw people in. Tyler Hubbard is hoping this year will be even better:

Hopefully we will help sell out this show and all come together to raise a lot of money for such a great cause!

As the reigning CMA Vocal Duo of the Year, Florida Georgia Line’s popularity meter just keeps going up and up. This year, the duo is nominated for the ACM Vocal Duo, Album, Single Record and Vocal Event of the Year awards. Hopefully, their rise to the top over the past year will also benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

The concert is to be held on June 3 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. For more information, visit Second Harvest online. To get tickets to the benefit concert, call 800-745-3000 or go to
