Big Machine Records announced on January 28, 2014, that several of country music's biggest superstars will team up to record a Motley Crue tribute album. Artists including Florida Georgia Line, LeAnn Rimes, Justin Moore, Cassadee Pope, Brantley Gilbert, and the Eli Young Band are all slated to appear on the disc. The album is a collaboration between Big Machine Records, Motley Records, and Eleven Seven Music.

The concept of the album came to life after Motley Crue manager Chris Nillson approached Big Machine Records President Scott Borchetta.

Scott explained, "It was an immediate 'yes' from me! Our album will highlight just how great the Motley Crue song catalog is. At the end of the day, that's what will stand the test of time."

He also hinted that more artists will be added to the already-stellar lineup.

"The initial response from the announcement of this album has been overwhelming. The are a lot of artists asking to be included and we look forward to finalizing plans for the project over the next few weeks," Scott allowed.

No release date has been set for the upcoming tribute album. Motely Crue will embark on their just-announced "Final Tour" beginning in July. Find tour details here.
