NEW PORT RICHEY FL. Honey is a 1- 2 year old little girl who would love to be somebody's best friend but right now she just wants to recover from a number of medical problems. Demodex, eye infection, ear infection, skin infection, open pyometra, causing her to have an emergency spray a week ago. Her breed is unknown at this time until her skin and eye infections get better which distorts her features and coloring. Honey is living at the New Port Richey Animal Protection Unit which is an all volunteer shelter with a mission of saving animals. The NPRAPU commits to caring for abandoned strays giving them medical care when needed and helping lost dogs in the community get returned to their owners. The animals that remain with the NPRAPU are put up for adoption. They also have a foster program until a forever home is found All get neutered and spayed before leaving the shelter. Adoption fee is 75.00.
