Unity in Action is a one day nonpartisan educational summit focused on educating activists from around the state on the key issues facing Florida. Tomorrow, 24 of the best single issue organizations from around the state that will provide the most up-to-date information and real action items. It should prove to be an interesting mix of people. Liberals that want to get marijuana legalized and hard core conservatives who want to restore their Second Amendment rights will be in attendance.

This is not a day about politics but a day to network with like-minded people and learn how to get involved in the issues that matter to Florida. The event will happen tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rotary Pavilion at the Concourse on SR 52 in Shady Hills, Florida. There is no charge to attend, however attendees will be expected to contribute one canned good which will be donated to a local shelter.

The organizations involved in the event do have a common belief in their single issues and that is one of personal freedom.
