The oldest of the aged rums from Compañia Licorera de Nicaragua, the Centenario 18 is a medium bodied premium spirit of amber color. A rich entry leads to a viscous, dryish, full-bodied palate with dark chocolate, caramel, roasted nuts, and brown spice flavors. The rum finishes with a long charred oak, vanilla, burnt sugar fade.

This sipping rum offers a big warm and bold profile in a tasting glass or snifter, opening up with sweeter tones when served on the rocks.

Flore de Caña was first produced at the San Antonio Sugar Mill in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua in 1890. Today, it is the largest selling rum brand in Central America, offering a wide range of spirits from the popular four year old dry white to the seven year old Gran Reserva, the 12 year old Centenario and the Centenario 21, a 15 year old rum celebrating the dawn of the 21st century.

Compañia Licorera de Nicaragua is owned by Grupo Pellas. Their modern distillery produces more than four million cases of rum a year. Flor de Caña reportedly has the largest stocks of aged rums in the Caribbean region.

Flor de Caña rums are imported by Skyy Spirits.
