Flock of Seagull's frontman Mike Score reported that the 80's band was robbed of $70,000 worth of music equipment after their van was broken into according to Huffington Post reports on Tuesday, July 23.

Score reveals that their equipment van was broken into on Sunday, July 21 around 1:45 a.m. Surveillance footage shows that the band's white van was driven out of a Comfort Inn Hotel where the group was staying, and robbed of property that includes their musical instruments, studio equipment,band merchandise, and $10,000 in stage clothes, not to mention all the hard drive files for Score's new solo album that were lost.

“We think it was somebody from the club that followed us knowing the van was full of equipment,” Score said.

The band was reported to have used rented equipment to keep their schedules show on Monday, and will be leaving London to continue their tour.

The Flock of Seagulls are best known for their hit "I Ran (So Far Away)."
