Flo Rida, 31, the very popular South Florida rapper, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, was arrested early Thursday in Miami Beach for DUI and driving with a suspended license, reported the Sun Sentinel.
Flo Rida is from Miami Gardens, Florida and was on South Beach Wednesday night driving a 2008 Bugatti, which is a vehicle worth more than $1 million, when police stopped him. TMZ reported that he was stopped at approximately 3:30am by Miami Beach police and was arrested.
His blood alcohol level was reported to be .185, more than twice Florida's legal limit, according to police reports, said the Sentinel. Fans tried to keep the police from arresting him and even offered him a ride home.
Flo Rida’s bond for each charge was $1,000 each.
