‘Flipping Out’ star Jenny Pulos pregnant at 40, no word from Jeff Lewis yet

Reality show “Flipping Out” co-star Jenny Pulos shared news that she’s expecting her first child with her new husband in the Jan. 14 issue of Us Weekly magazine. She also tweeted, “I am so very grateful for the best Christmas/New Year/Bday gift ever”, along with hash tag “#yesiampregnant” on Wednesday. The project manager and aspiring actress reveals she’s 17 weeks along, and tells of how shocked she was that she became pregnant so quickly again at age 40 after first suffering a miscarriage. Jenny Pulos married orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jonathan Nassos in May of last year, according to Reality TV World yesterday. Their nuptials were included in episodes of last season’s “Flipping Out”, the reality show starring Jeff Lewis that chronicles his southern California real estate flipping and design business.

“It was the best surprise. I never knew it was fairly common to get pregnant after a miscarriage”, Jenny said, adding that she and Jonathan were prepared for other options since they understood it might be difficult for her to get pregnant at age 40.

Pulos joked, “He married an old cougar”!, speaking of her 35 year-old hubby. “I didn't think it would happen so quickly. I was open to IVF or adoption”, she said.

Jenny Pulos discovered she was pregnant just months into her new marriage, but sadly suffered a miscarriage. During a routine follow up exam she found out she was expecting again.

Jenny told Us Weekly, “I still can't believe this is happening. I won't lie: I'm scared! I'm like, 'How am I going to be a mom? I'm so immature!' But I'm going for it. It's so exciting”, according to Starpulse.

Pulos and her Nassos are choosing to wait until the birth to find out the gender of the child, but they are thinking about baby names. If it’s a boy they want a classic Greek name to reflect their shared heritage.

Typically though, Jenny explains that her boss is pulling for the name Jeff. However, there’s been no “official” congrats from her boss and co-star as of yet.

In December Jeff and Jenny made headlines when he filed a lawsuit against her over her upcoming book, “Hang in There, Baby - What One of the World’s Most Difficult Bosses Taught Me About Life, Work, and Love”.

Watchers of the show know just how true that title likely is, as the name "Flipping Out" is not only a reference to his business of flipping houses, but Jeff's propensity to flip out himself.

But apparently Lewis wasn't too happy with Jenny penning a book that included revelations about him. Either that, or perhaps he wanted to hammer out a deal that cut him in on the royalties.

In any event, Jeff dropped the lawsuit last month, but viewers also saw how close to a break in their friendship they came in the last season of the show. Jenny infuriated Jeff by accepting a comp from one of his clients without telling him.

The two patched things up by attending therapy sessions together. Hopefully all is well now, but still we haven't seen any tweets or public congrats from Jeff Lewis as of yet.

If past seasons of “Flipping Out” have taught us anything though, we’re sure Jeff Lewis is ecstatic over the news. After all, at the end of last season’s show, he and his partner Gage were starting the process of having a child of their own.

That means play dates!
