Late last night - or early this morning, depending on your perspective - some twenty dedicated Bioshock fans gathered outside of the Linden Road Gamestop to pick up their copy of Bioshock 2, sequel to the much-celebrated Bioshock.
Matt Martin, attending his fourth midnight game release of the year and planning on picking up a copy for his Xbox 360, said that he was out in the freezing Flint cold of February because he “had nothing better to do. The first [game] was awesome, and I’m expecting the second to be even better.” Given the enormous success of the original Bioshock and Matt's enjoyment of it, there doesn't seem to be anything at all better to do than to wait outside in line to be among the first in Flint to play the game.
When asked whether or not he planned on sleeping after getting his copy, Matt laughed and said no. Matt happened to get lucky with his work schedule and had the next few days off from work - which he planned to spend playing Bioshock 2.
Matt, like everyone else in line spoken to, also said that he had no intention of harvesting Little Sisters (caution: both links contain potential spoilers), regardless of their incarnation in Bioshock 2. It would seem that the gathered Bioshock dedicated of Flint, on a cold February evening, all prefer to play the hero.
As for me? As soon as that next paycheck comes through, I plan on harvesting every Little Sister I come across. Mmm, ADAM.
