Fling iPhone iPod Touch app review

Fling! is a new app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that is rapidly climbing to the top of the top free downloads list on  iTunes.  It was recently put on sale for free down from $2, so at free it is a very appealing app.

Fling! is a puzzle app (There seems to be 1,000 of these nowadays), but is an original app.  To solve the puzzles, you must fling furry balls across the screen until only one remain.  Sounds simple but is difficult as the game progresses.  You only get one hint per level, and as you pass each level, you find yourself using the hint sooner and sooner.

The graphics are good and so is the sound.  Everything is very pleasant looking and sounding.  The controls are super easy, just flick your finger over the furballs in the direction you want it to go.  They are dead on and responsive.

All in all Fling! is a great app while it is free.  You get great gameplay and value because it is fun with lots of levels.  That is the reason it has shot to the top of the free downloads list so quickly as it’s only been out two weeks.  However, even when this game is no longer free, I still think it is worth a download even at the $2 price tag.  Fling! is just a flat out good app.
