According to a news release posted April 4 at Billboard.com, the veteran multi-Grammy winning rockers' appearance on NBC's "Today" show along with numerous high-profile interviews helped spark a 33% increase in album sales and a 52% increase in digital song sales.
The "Go Your Own Way" hitmakers sold 10,000 albums along with 30,000 digital songs for the week ending March 30 and their 1988 "Greatest Hits" album re-charted on the Billboard 200 and Top Pop Catalogue Albums (No.32).
The reunited line-up, consisting of Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks will kick off their newly announced On With the Show Tour on Sept. 20 in Minneapolis, Minn. at Target Centre and wrap up in on Dec. 14 in Dallas, Texas at American Airlines Centre.
