FlashBack of Trendsetters

Hey Hair Trenders!!

This month I decided to dedicate articles to highlight all the trendsetters of the past. You remember don't you?!

The early 90's hijacked the scene with fresh new music and beats and also displayed some of the most artistic and unique hairstyles that trailed the way for today's hairstyles. Back then it wasn't necessarily (in or cool) to be too distinct and stand out. Today's hairstyles definitely represents uniqueness and individuality but we owe the new bold moves to the trailblazers that I will highlight and mention all month long.

Today we start off with a recent trailblazer-Tracee Ellis Ross!

How can we forget her as the "Joan" on the "Girlfriend's sitcom" that we all loved. Quickly she had created a whirlwind of talk as women everywhere soon discovered that her mother was none other than "Diana Ross". After finding out that fact, we surely saw the resemblance quickly. As Tracee Ellis Ross came on the scene with her naturally thick hair and wore it so carefree and confidently. That confidence then set a stage for all the new natural hair care movement that has so quickly taken off as a force. With her thick strands and simplistic styles we all soon discovered such beauty and redefined boldness to express our own tresses. So today, I'm just highlighting one of the trailblazers of our time that definitely paved the way for more creative and natural hair on display for whoever to see!
