Flamenco Festival Miami returns for its seventh year

Flamenco Festival 2014, a wildly popular celebration that brings together the flamenco world's hottest dancers, most popular powerhouse vocalists and most celebrated musician returns to Miami for its seventh smash year.

The festival will be held on dates over Feb. 27 to March 8 at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.

"Over the past six years, Flamenco Festival Miami has become a sensation enjoyed by more than 20,000 people," said John Richard, president and CEO of the Arsht Center. "This season's festival is a sensual feast of music, voice and movement that brings the drama of Spain's most beloved art form to the Arsht Center stage," he added.

The festival opens this week with "Stars of Flamenco" on Feb. 27 and 28, featuring some of the best flamenco performers on a single stage. The magnificent Eva Yerbabuena and her company follow on March 1 and 2. For the festival's second weekend, vocal powerhouse Estrella Morente will perform on March 6 and the Grammy-winning Tomatito Sextet takes the stage on March 8.

Tickets for each performances range from $25-$95. Subscription packages and a VIP dinner package are also available.
