The many flea markets, open each weekends in Orange County, gives credence to the saying, "One Person's Junk is Another Person's Treasure". Many of the Flea Markets sell fresh produce and plants from nearby farms; some have food vendors; and others have music throughout the day.

Whether you are an avid collector of antiques and vintage clothing, or just like to visit looking for something unusual to add interest to your home, this popular weekend activity can be found in many of the cities in Orange County.

1. Orange County Marketplace

The Orange County Marketplace is home to the largest inventory of vendors and merchants. They have now added Southern California's newest antique show - the Orange County Antique Market with 75 plus antique vendors displaying a large assortment of collectibles. It is open to the public on the 1st and 4th weekend each month, from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. with admission of $2 to the flea market.

2. The Groves Antique Market

6990 Marine Way

In Irvine on the 1st Saturday of the month on the MCAS El Toro Runways, the Groves Antique Market is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. This popular flea market has over a 100 vendors, free admission and free parking, and the added bonus of a nearby farmers market where fresh produce can be purchased. Looking for a special hard to find relic, fine art piece, or an unusual collectible stop by they just may have something you will like.

3. Mercantile Flea Market

115 S. Harbor Blvd.

This 1st Saturday flea market in Fullerton includes rare vintage items, one-of-a-kind knick-knacks, live music, jewelry, food, and workshops for kids to make their own unique souvenier. The flea market is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking is available at the structure across the street.

4. Orange Flea Market

146 N. Grand St.

Orange, CA 92866

The 2nd Saturday of each month, just east of the Orange Circle, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Orange Flea Market is open to the public. Filled with goods ranging from jewelry, baseball cards, vintage clothing, records, CDs, and lots more jam packed collectibles it makes for a fun day and maybe some surprises at what you will find. Admission and parking are free.

5. Jamestown Village Vintage Flea Market

474 El Camino Real

Tustin, CA 92780

Tustin has it's own fleat market the 4th Sunday of each month, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m - 'The Jamestown Village Vintage Flea Market has a large list of vendors with such items as antique dolls, retro bikes, old-fashioned typewriters and more unique offers. Admission is free to this vintage flea market which is open rain or shine.
