The Texans have announced the schedule for training camp sessions open to the public.
I was wondering how this was going to work out ever since Gary Kubiak announced that the Texans wouldn't be having two-a-days in camp.
As it turns out, there's only one evening practice open to the public - and based on Kubiak's comments, that will be a walk-through and not a 'real' practice.
Two open practices are on work day mornings, but if you're on 4-10's or shift work, are a student or otherwise have a flexible schedule, the Friday and Monday morning sessions will probably be lightly attended and could be your best bet to get a good view of the team.
The schedule also tells me that none of the Texans joint practice sessions with the Saints will be open to the public..
There is a limit of six tickets per person per practice and a maximum of two sessions this year.
What that means is that you'll need to hit three Wingstop locations if you plan to attend all five of the sessions - that or assign different stores to your friends and do some trading of tickets. Or talk nice to the store manager. Let's just hope there's enough to go around.
At least we won't be asked to sit for investment advice this year in exchange for training camp tickets. Maybe we'll have to eat a dozen hot wings to get out the door.
Here's a store locator. Just plug in your zip code.
