Five Star Night to benefit Meals on Wheels - Silent On-Line Auction Ends May 1

This year’s gala benefit Five Star Night will take place Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4700 Lincoln Avenue in Oakland. Celebrity chef Narsai David will guide guests through each course of an extraordinary meal, prepared by skilled chefs from some of the finest East Bay restaurants.  “It’s like touring the best East Bay restaurants without leaving your seat,” they report.

Featured restaurants include: Adesso/Dopo, Citron, Grace Street Catering, Marzano/Garibaldi’s, Picante, Bocanova, Bay Wolf, Lalime’s, Mua, Pican, Market Hall Bakery, La Farine, Bake Sale Betty and Lyla’s Chocolates.

Also on the evening's program are both silent and live auction items for consideration, followed by entertainment and dancing to close out the night.

This event makes a tremendous impact on the community’s ability to support seniors in need. Visit the website for ticket information, or call 510-777-9568.
