R&B newcomer Casinova said on Oct. 28 in an exclusive interview with New York Concert Examiner Eric Holden that he is extremely pleased with the response from his debut single “What I Need," which has been blowing up the radio waves on Long Island in recent months.
Casinova has been busy with touring behind the release, but he kindly took a few minutes from his schedule to answer some questions about his future plans in music. Here's what he had to say:
Q. If you can, please talk a little bit about your most recent album or any project in the works. What is the inspiration behind the songs? How has the response been from fans? Is it vastly different from earlier works or similar in sound?
Casinova: For the songs I write it's usually inspired by personal experiences, and then there are times when I listen to a beat and a certain melody pops into my head and I see how I can flow to it. So far the response for 'What I Need' has been nice, and I can't wait to make more tracks.
Q. Please talk a little bit about your immediate touring plans and shows coming up before the end of the year.
Casinova: Right now i don't have any touring plans, just focusing on working right now.
Q. How would you describe your sound?
Casinova: It's a mix of R&B and pop.
Q. How has your music evolved since you first started performing?
Casinova: Working with my label has definitely taken me to new levels, and I love what is being produced.
Q. Where can fans check you out online?
Q. Thanks so much.
Casinova: No problem. Thanks.
