If anything, the area around the Five Points MARTA station almost feels like an outdoor food court when it comes to dining, plus there is also a real food court in neighboring Underground Atlanta. Catered toward the business and university student population, most places to eat offer quick service for the weekday crowd, so don't be shocked if a few establishments are closed on the weekend. But if you are in the area for work, school or sight-seeing, here are the restaurants to choose from on the major surrounding streets.
Upper Alabama Street/Underground Atlanta
Just across the street from the Peachtree Street station exit on Upper Alabama is a Waffle House and further down a Quiznos for a quick sandwich. Below the street in Underground Atlanta are several other food options:
- Johnny Rockets (American/burgers)
- Underground Atlanta Food Court
- Footprints Jamaican Restaurant and Lounge

Broad Street and Plaza
Just above the station is the Broad Street Plaza (look for the station exit near the MARTA RideStore). In the plaza you'll find:
Cross Marietta Street in front of the plaza to enter Broad Street, which is part of the historic Fairlie Popular district. Numerous other restaurants are located here:

Just around the corner from these two cafes on Park Place you can also choose from:
