The City of Angels is a hotbed for beautiful, single people. As the weather heats up, clothes get skimpier, everyone hits the gym, and the flesh market officially opens. It's not hard to meet the next possible Ms or Mr Right. It's just a matter of finding where singles commingle and being there at the right time.

Hit the Beach. When the sky is clear and the temperature is above 80 degrees one of the best places to meet a single guy or gal is the sea side. Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon paved the way for beach blanket hookups and meeting “the one” in the 60s beach party movies. The game of beach blanket bingo isn't over, it's just forgotten, but the summer of 2011 is the time to bring it back. Start up a game of volleyball or frisby and invite the hotties a few blankets over to join. Sparks will fly in no time.

Go to the Grove. This place has great shopping, delicious food, and celebrity sightings. If there's any place to meet a single guy or gal this is one of the best. Especially since Extra shoots here on a daily basis. You can't help but run into a beautiful singly man or woman hoping to catch a glimpse of Mario Lopez or the hot celeb babe he's interviewing that day.

Be seen on the Sunset strip. This is always a great place to meet the who's who of singles. Sunset has everything any time of the day. Shopping during the day, comedy and night clubs in the evening. If you don't meet someone here, especially on a Saturday night, you're seriously in need of a personality overhaul.

Hit up a hookah lounge. With late hours, hookah lounges are a great place to mellow out after a night of dancing or just a night of relaxing and hanging out with friends. Some are pricier than others but if ambiance and flavored tobacco without the threat of a ticket for smoking in pubic are what you're looking for, hookah bars are where you want to be. And there are single men and women there to boot.

Universal City Walk is a universal place to meet singles. With so much to do like visit Universal Studios, take the tour, go to a concert, see the sights, catch a movie at the IMAX, the Hard Rock Cafe and the eateries and brewery, there is sure to be a single guy or gal just waiting to meet you. You might even catch a glimpse of a celeb here too.
