Five perfect games highlight this weekend's report on top scores from bowling centers in the Sarasota-Manatee-Charlotte County area.

Two of the 300s -- by Mike Janosik and Mark Kronemberg -- came in the Wednesday Men's Trio League at Bowland Port Charlotte.

Janosik blasted games of 300, 269, 228 and 210 for a 1,007 four-game series to increase his summer league average to 230, while Kronemberg, averaging 204, rolled a four-game 972 on scores of 188, 215, 269 and 300.

Ryan Williams fired his first career perfecto when he opened the session in the Thursday Night Mixed League at AMF Venice with 12 consecutive strikes before following with games of 183 and 264 for a 747 series.

Competing in the Tuesday Mixed League at AMF Bradenton, Robert Delosh posted games of 300, 186 and 205 for a 691 series, and Glen Lawrence rolled a 672 set on scores of 300, 175 and 197 in the Tuesday Summer Fun League at Treasure Lanes.

And one of the hottest bowlers in the area has to be James Creutz, based on his three weeks of action in the Thursday Mixed League at Bowland Port Charlotte. When the 27-year-old lefthander pounded out scores of 226, 278 and 245 this week, his 749 series tied for his lowest league set, giving him a 251 average after previous series of 766 and 749.
