After disassembling in 2003 and embarking on a hiatus for various personal reasons, the band did the only logical thing: wait a few years before reuniting in glory. After a series of cryptic countdown, online clue-searching, puzzle solving, and general internet shenanigans, the band finally announced back in 2011 that they were in actions, hoping to record a new full length and embark on a tour. They dropped ferocious brass-fueled track, It was a Dark and Stormy Night, alongside a Kickstarter to fund the pending record. Rabid fans swarmed to the crowd-sourcing fundraiser, fulfilling the goal in the first day and proceeding to more than triple the anticipated earnings by the deadline.
After releasing the first single off their upcoming release, the more punk-edged, Into Your Veins, last week, and announcing earlier that Engine of a Million Plots would be available physically and digitally on November 26, they put up official pre orders earlier today.
The vinyl comes on 180g black or fiery red. The gatefold packaging comes with a custom inner sleeve, an 11x17 poster, and a 20 page lyric booklet.
All pre-orders comes with an immediate download of the unreleased track, "So Far."
