We’re off and running for the New Year and already our “favorite” celebrities are serving up plenty of fodder to savor. For obvious reasons, you can tell which famous names will be cemented in headlines in 2013. There are perhaps quite a few famous folks who will delight and astound this year. But if you thought these celebs would quietly usher in the New Year, you were sadly mistaken…
Kristen Stewart
You can probably blame that whole cheating scandal for the wave of attention Kristen Stewart received in 2012. The ensuing love story between Robert Pattinson and his “Twilight” co-star continues to play out before our very eyes. But as Stewart’s headlong dive into chunkier acting territory dictates, she’s getting awfully comfy being that edgy twentysomething to watch out for. In 2013, you can expect constant scrutiny into her quest for personal satisfaction.
Lindsay Lohan
She’s just always in trouble. Legal troubles, physical struggles, family squabbles – these are everyday facets of the “Liz & Dick” star’s life. Regrettably, she’s had so many awkward (understatement) moments that CNN posted a timeline in March 2012, consisting of her most unfortunate mishaps. The year wore on and so did her personal calamities. As her legal troubles continue to snowball, we can tell that 2013 is going to be a busy year for Lindsay.
Kim Kardashian
As much as the world appears to be growing weary of Kardashian Fever, we can say without a doubt that she’s not going anywhere, anytime soon. Per new reports, the reality queen was offered a cool quarter of a mil to document the remainder of her pregnancy on a website launched by an Armenian filmmaker. Suffice it to say, Kim K’s baby-on-board status makes her a definite shoo-in for extemporaneous attention in 2013.
(Another contributing factor? That it’s likely she’ll give birth to Kanye West’s child before her divorce papers are officially inked.)
Chris Brown
For all intents and purposes, anything that Chris Brown does will likely be met with public examination. His errant Twitter blow-ups, clandestine liaisons with strange women, and his unconventional romance with pop queen Rihanna will leave fans floundering. Chris will practically own the gossip headlines this year.
Justin Bieber is another of those celebrities whose megawatt popularity is also accompanied by a flurry of ill-timed, oddly executed public mishaps. The latest tragedy involves the death of a paparazzo that was struck after attempting to photograph Bieber. Other tabloid tasty treats include stories of paternity issues, on stage vomiting, puppy love break-ups and being sued for hearing loss, amongst others. As Bieber still has yet to exit his teens, he’s got plenty of time to generate more page-turning tales.
