Whether you exercise a little or a lot, you still need to follow a healthy, balanced diet not to mention your portion size is also key.It maybe a very healthy food choice but you can still over eat. Just like you can over exercise.
" Too much of a good thing"
Finding that right balance is the struggle. We know how important exercise is to a healthy life style. It maintains healthy weight. Improves muscle strength, lungs , heart and blood vessels. Supports healthy bones and joints - makes us look and feel better all around
So how much does what we eat also influence our health if we exercise regularly? It's about 70% of your health. So it is the most important aspect to. The real fact is, that you can over eat and out eat your exercise any day- and most do.
There might be an exception: Olympic athletes that train 6-7 hours a day. Depending on the sport, they can consume 10,000 calories daily and continue to loss weight if not careful.Obviously this isn't the average person, so not even something to talk about.
A healthy 200 lb man only needs 2000 calories a day for regular fitness. If you begin to work out hard, then maybe 200 more. That's if they are trying to maintain or develop muscle, not loss excess weight.
It's all about balance for your life. Finding what works for your healthy. Just remember your food can hurt or help. Eat as if your life depends on it- it does.
