Does getting centered, balanced, strong and relaxed in the midst of live music before a live concert sound good? If so, hit up the Soulshine Music Yoga Tour stop at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston. Combining a healthful yoga practice on a huge scale with coveted live performances is good enough. On top of that, this event is presented by the Life is Good Kids Foundation. Read on to learn more.

The Life is Good Kids Foundation is an organization dedicated to raising money for children in need. The Soulshine Music Yoga Tour is one method of raising money for that cause. A portion of all ticket and official t-shirt sales goes to the foundation, which has raised more than $10 million dollars as of July, 2014. Just because yoga is about helping yourself does not mean you cannot practice while helping kids and making new friends -- a lot of new friends.

While the massive group yoga session happens, Michael Franti will be offering live music. The entire experience will be a singular one for local yogis. The venue is right on the water, the music will be awesome and there will be a lot of incentive push those asanas to the safe limit. Just be sure to come prepared and only do the asanas you are comfortable with, just like a class.
