It can be hard not to snack during the day. However, your snack choices can be just as healthy as your meal choices. Try not to grab for the big bag of doritos or that piece of chocolate when hunger stricks between meals. Instead grab for something healthy that will help keep you full between meals.
Of course, fruit is always a good option. Grab an apple and dip it into some peanut butter for a protein filled snack. Bananas, oranges, grapes and cantelope are great for snacking on too.
Dip some of your favorite veggies into some hummus to help add some extra flavor to them.
Rice Cakes/ Popped Chips
These snacks can sometimes feel like your eating chips, but they are a lot healthier for you.
These are great for a quick fix or for a snack on the run out the door.
Not the buttery kind, but plain popcorn is still yummy and fills you up!
