Today marks the release of Fit For Rival’s new single “Hit Me” from their upcoming second studio album “Freak Machine” to be released in early 2015. This month they are kicking off a summer tour in support of their upcoming release. Co-headlining with Blameshift they will be making a stop in San Antonio at The Falls on Friday August 22, 2014.

Fit For Rivals was formed in 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida by Renee Phoenix after she met Thomas Amason while looking for a guitarist for her band. In 2009 the band released their debut album “Steady Damage” and it included the singles “Damage” and “Crash” which was used in the movie “Legendary” starring Danny Glover and John Cena.

They have toured with artists like “The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus” and “Hoobastank.” Fit For Rivals is made up of Renee Phoenix (vocalist), Thomas Amason (guitarist), Eli Clark (bassist), Rufino Lomboy (guitarist) and Trey Catman (drums).

Blameshift is a four member rock band from Long Island, New York that includes Jenny Mann (vocals), Tim Barbour (guitar, vocals), Dan Scofield (drums) and Mark Sarkissian (bass). They released their first album “Drop Down” in 2006 by a busy tour schedule that included three dates on the Warped Tour. Their music has been played on various television shows and nationwide radio. Known as an independent band, their hard work, dedication and high energy live shows have set them apart from other bands. This year they released their latest studio album name “Secrets.”
