Fit and Fun 5k to Benefit Clermont DD this Saturday

This Saturday, July 12, will be the Fit and Fun 5k for the Clermont DD programs benefiting children and adults in Clermont County with developmental disabilities. The race is part of the Fit and Fun Fest with the 5k taking place first, followed by the kids’ fun run. The race starts at 9am at the Wildey Center in Batavia, with late registration and packet pickup beginning at 7:30. Pre-race registration is $15 and is still available online through this evening, with t-shirt purchasing additional $10. Race day registration will be $20 and t-shirts will only be available for purchase upon availability on the day of the race. The kids’ fun run will be free and taking place immediately following the 5k run/walk.

Immediately following the race will be an awards ceremony, with awards for the top male and female runners and walkers as well as awards to the top runners and walkers in each age group. After the race there will be refreshments and music provided with vendors available for all of those attending the Fit and Fun Fest scheduled from 9am to 2pm at the Wildey Center with activities for the whole family, music, vendors and a kids area. So come on out and support the Clermont County DD programs and have a little fun!
