Fists, chairs fly at country club meeting in Rancho Mirage (Video)

Fists and chairs flew after a brawl broke out at a country club meeting in Rancho Mirage, the Desert Sun reported Wednesday.

It was supposed to be a routine Homeowners Association meeting but it turned out to be knock down, drag out fight.

The RIverside County Sheriff says that the incident began about 4 p.m. when they got a call for a fight at The Springs’ clubhouse. The brawl broke out after the board election results were announced.

The sheriff’s office added that yelling led to pushing and shoving, then chair throwing and fist fighting. Several people reported minor injuries and one person had to go to a hospital after suffering a seizure.

There were no arrests but a lot of hard feelings that will no doubt linger for some time.
