Fish with a ranger in Point Mugu State Park

If you ever wondered what's swimming off the shore of the Santa Monica Mountains, now's the perfect time to find out. Join a ranger-led fishing expedition in Point Mugu State Park. On Sunday, June First, a Nation Park Service ranger will look after visitors visitors as they cast off and catch fish at Mugu Beach. You'll be hooked!

The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Participants ages 16 and up will need a valid California fishing license with an ocean enhancement stamp. Meet at Mugu Beach, on Pacific Coast Highway 3 miles west of Sycamore Canyon Campground. There is $8 parking in a day use lot at the campground as well as free parking along PCH.
