If you’ve never tried Boursin cheese spread, you’re in for a treat. You’ll find it in the cheese section of nearly every grocery store. There are many flavors available, but this recipe calls for Garlic and Herb. It has such a distinct and wonderful taste that, when combined with the fish, makes an absolutely fabulous dish.
When you’re in the cheese section, pick up some good parmesan cheese. Many times stores will shred, grate, or shave their own to make it easier to use. If you want the freshest method, buy a block of parmesan cheese and use your food processor or hand grater at home. If you’re buying it ready to use, shaved or shredded is always the best method as it gives you more of the smoky, delicious parmesan taste for your recipes.
Baked Fish Recipe
Ingredients for baked fish:
- · 2 tablespoons butter
- · 2 pounds white fish
- · 1 tub Boursin Cheese Spread, Garlic & Herb flavor
- · 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese, shredded or shaved
- · Salt/pepper
Directions for making baked fish:
Melt the butter in a 9x13 baking dish to coat the bottom. Place the fish in a single layer on the bottom of the dish. Spread a layer of Boursin Cheese Spread over each piece. Sprinkle each piece with parmesan, and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees.
