Fish grabs man's arm: Angler gets bit by Tarpon

A fish grabs a man's arm after he dangles it over the water trying to lure the animal in. On Jan. 12, The Sun reported that a man held his arm over the water and got quite the surprise. The fish actually jumped out of the water and latched on to the man's arm and it took him a bit of time to free himself.

"The man wriggles and wrestles to free himself from the whopping beast which is understood to be a Tarpon somewhere in Florida. After dragging it along the jetty, still attached to his arm, he eventually frees himself from the creature and the fish flops back into the water," reports The Sun.

When a fish grabs man's arm, any video would go viral. The man was clearly teasing the fish -- it appears as he had some sort of bait in his hand -- and he really got what he asked for. It is unknown what the man's intentions were, exactly. The fish wasn't going to just float on top of the water and allow the man to scoop him out.

This type of fish is known to jump out of the water not unlike a breaching shark. While they are certainly a site to see in the warmer waters of the southern Atlantic, the man who successfully lured the fish probably didn't have the best idea.
