A gigantic fish grabs a man's arm in a video that's getting plenty of attention on YouTube this week.
It appears that a Florida man was showing off his fish-baiting skills and dangled the bait over the edge of a dock.
Much to his surprise, a large tarpon took the bait, and the man's arm, into his big mouth. He leapt out of the water and grabbed the man's arm in an attempt to have a human snack.
Tarpons are very large fish known for making amazing leaps into the air. One of the biggest Atlantic tarpon recorded was just over 8 feet and weighed about 350 pounds.
The fish decided to show off and try to eat the man's arm for lunch after leaping out of the water.
The man who tried to bait the fish was surrounded by friends who challenged him to "get" the fish, even though it was trying to take hold of his arm.
Listen closely to the video and you will hear the man's lady-friend scream, "Get him baby, ahhhhhhhh!" showing a real lack of smarts.
The man continues to fight with the fish even though it is taking his arm further into his mouth. Finally, he comes to his senses and lets the fish go.
He walks away as if this was just another day in the life of a not-so-intelligent person.
