Aspen/Snowmass announced today that the first Valhalla Night of the summer takes place this Friday, July 11 from 4-8:30 p.m. The last gondola ride up is at 8:30 p.m. and down is at 9 p.m. at Elk Camp in Snowmass.
Valhalla Nights is an extension of the resort’s popular winter Ullr Nights. Here’s the difference: Ullr Nights include a visit to the Volcano, snow tubing, snow biking and ice skating. The constant between Valhalla Nights and Ullr Nights are s’mores by the campfire.
There will be evening Bike Snowmass access until 7 p.m., live music, outdoor BBQ, campfire and s’mores, lawn games and a children's playground and strider bikes.
Additional Valhalla Nights will take place July 18 and 25, August 1, 8, 15 and 29. New this summer, Valhalla Nights will also take place on select Tuesday evenings: August 5, 12 and 19. The Tuesday evening Valhalla Nights will have a hoedown theme with line dancing lessons and a western barbeque.
Tickets are $8 per person after 4 p.m. or included with valid daily lift access. Bike Snowmass is not included with the Valhalla gondola ticket. Bike Snowmass late arrival tickets (after 2 p.m.) are $29.

And here’s where we add a lot of unnecessary copy because Examiner.com has mandated that each post be at least 1,500 characters, even if the information required doesn’t require that many characters. But there it is, and it is as it shall be, because it was ordained to be so. And, after a quick word count, it looks like we’re there!
