First trailer to 'Game of Thrones' season 4 premieres

The next big television season premiere many people are dying for is the fourth season to "Game of Thrones". Those people still have a few months to wait; however, earlier tonight, January 12, HBO premiered the first trailer to the new season and things look a lot more promising after the disappointing third season last year.

Like the season 3 trailer from last year, the season 4 "Game of Thrones" trailer opens with some dragon footage, or more accurately, the shadow of a dragon. Will Daenerys Targaryen, her followers and her dragons FINALLY make it to King's Landing next season? Who knows, but she does declare, "They have a choice, they can live in my new world or they can die in their old one." Of course, she has been talking like that for three seasons already, so who knows if that will finally come to pass.

Other highlights of the trailer include King Joffrey declaring how he won the war and then him being corrected on how the war is not over. Young Arya brandishing a sword in a couple of shots. Things look rather gloomy for Tyrion Lannister as he appears in chains and thrown into a dungeon while his brother gets a golden hand. The one thing missing from the trailer? The White Walkers. Winter may be coming, but those guys have been mostly absent. Perhaps they will finally move on the South in season 4 of "Game of Thrones" which premieres Sunday, April 6. If you can't wait, you can always read the books.

"If you want justice, you've come to the wrong place."
