Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting see Kermit and the gang back on the big screen. On Thursday Jan. 31, Ace Showbiz shared the first photos released for "The Muppets Again." Check out the photos by visiting the slide show.
Kermit and the gang will be traveling the world in this new installment to the franchise. They are on a global tour, but they will find some trouble along the way. There is a doppelganger of Kermit named Constantine in Europe, and he is a criminal. The gang will have some human help during this film as well. In an interview, the guest cast for the film was teased by Kermit. He said the following, according to MTV Movies Blog:
"Ricky Gervais is kind of like a Muppet, if you think about it. He fits right in. He’s about our size. Then, of course, we have Tina Fey—and it's hard to beat Tina. I know her because I was lucky enough to get asked to do a little spot on one of the last episodes of '30 Rock.' She's playing a feisty prison guard named Nadia, which should be fun."
Ricky Gervais is shown in one of the new photos. This film is set for release in March 2014. Fans are buzzing about the release of this film on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
I'm excited! Ricky Gervais is in...#TheMuppetsAgain
Scottsdale residents will be able to see this film at the Harkins Scottsdale Fashion Square 7 or another local theater in the area once the film is released next year.
