First teaser for 'Girl Meets World' has arrived

On Thursday, April 10 posted the first look at the new television comedy 'Girl Meets World,' which will be airing on Disney Channel later this year. The series is a sequel to the popular 1990s sitcom 'Boy Meets World' which followed a middle school kid named Cory Matthews through his everyday life.

The new series, which was announced early last year, features Cory (Ben Savage) and his now wife Topanga (Danielle Fishel) as they raise their children in New York City, and the series is told from the point of view of their daughter Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard). The thirty-second clip features Riley and her best friend May (Sabrina Carpenter) as they try to sneak out of the house of their first day of seventh grade.

Cory catches them and explains that they are still living in his world and not their own, so they can't do whatever they want. Cory is also abel to keep an eye on them at school as their new history teacher. Topanga enters the room and the girls run off for their first day of school. The series has the same feel as the original, and bringing back the original cast has a lot to do with that.

After the pilot episode was filmed, Disney Channel picked up the show and ordered it to series, making season one consist of twenty-two episodes total. The show is slated to air in late 2014 with highly anticipated viewership. Many members of the original show, including Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) and Mr. Feeny are expected to appear in at least one episode.
