So, you are sitting at work wondering how to get in shape when you are stuck to your desk, right? Many of today's corporate workforce wonder the same thing - how to get in shape while being glued to the desk. First Strike adult fitness program has devised the 5-minutest at work routine that shows the martial artists how to work out for 5 minutes every hour, totalling 40 minutes of toning a day! Even the busiest of workers have to go to the bathroom, right?
Right before you go the bathroom, take a 5-minute toning break. The first exercise is the triceps desk pushup. Face away from your desk and place your palms down on your desk next to your sides, your hands facing forward. With knees slightly bent, and weight distributed to your heels, perform 10 triceps pushups. Count 10 seconds after your first set, and then perform another 10 repetitions. Drink a glass of water and go to the bathroom.

For your next bathroom break, stand up straight with your feet shoulder width apart. Place your next to your ears. Lift your left knee as high as you can and bend right elbow until it touches your left knee. Alternate with left elbow touching your right knee. Do a set of 10 repetitions on each knee-elbow combination. Rest for 10 seconds and begin another set of 10 repetitions. Drink a glass of water and go to the bathroom.
