Some of the biggest bass fishing can be had in Central Florida’s Lake Toho in Kissimmee (20 miles from downtown Orlando, 6 hours from Atlanta). The lake produces more ten pound fish than any other trophy bass lake. The first Southern Bassmaster Open takes place January 31-February 2, on the headwaters for The Everglades. Lake Toho is such a lunker paradise it held the first Forrest Wood Cup (FLW Outdoors) named after the legendary founder of Ranger Boats.
Weather on the Lake
Overnight lows have been around 58 degrees and intermittent showers are going over the lake now as we speak. The tournament weather calls for sunny days and warm weather.
