Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting for True Blood actor Stephen Moyer to return to their screens. On Thursday, True Blood Online gave fans of the actor their first look of him on the set of his next film project. The actor is spending the off season from True Blood, which airs on Channel 200 in Scottsdale, filming The Barrens. Check out the photos from the set featuring Moyer here.
In the film, Moyer will play a man named Richard Marlow that takes his family camping at the location where the Jersey Devil is known to haunt. During the trip, he will start to believe his family is being hunted by the monster after some mysterious animal deaths and a teenage boy disappears.
Mia Kirshner, recently seen on television screens in the second second season of The Vampire Diaries, also stars in this film as his wife. Moyer's joining the cast was reported just last month. This film is being directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, and the cast also includes Erik Knudsen, J. Larose, Allie MacDonald, Max Topplin, and Peter DaCunha.
Fans are waiting to see this actor on the big screen. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

The Barrens is set for release to Scottsdale theaters in Fall 2012.
