Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting to see Pink, also known as Alecia Moore, take on her next big screen role in Thanks For Sharing. On Wednesday, Caught on Set shared the first photos of the singer on the set of the film. Another set featuring Mark Ruffalo were also shared. It was just reported on Tuesday by Access Hollywood that the actress had been cast in the film as the sex addict Dede.
The cast of Thanks for Sharing also includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim Robbins, and Joely Richardson. The director of the film, Stuart Blumberg, had this to say about the casting of Pink in the film:
"[Pink] could not be a more ideal fit for this role. She carries with her just the right combination of heart and edginess for the part of Dede, and we're incredibly excited to share her acting talent with audiences."
This will be the singer's first major film role, but she had appeared on the big screen previously in small cameo appearances, including an appearance in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.

Thanks For Sharing is set for release to Scottsdale theaters in 2012.
