Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting to see True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard on the big screen once again. He is currently appearing in Straw Dogs, which was released earlier this month, but he is already working on his next film. On Tuesday, Celeb Buzz released the first photos from the set of the film Disconnect featuring Alexander Skarsgard. Movie Web also shared the latest posters for his another of his film's Melancholia on Tuesday. Check out the photos here. According to Wet Paint, Skarsgard will play 'a philandering ex-Marine in the new film." Paula Patton and Jason Bateman have also been cast in the film. Disconnect is being directed by Henry Alex Rubin, and Andrew Stern wrote the script.
Skarsgard has managed to keep himself very busy during his down time from True Blood. He is showing that there is more to him than playing Eric Northman. Next out for the actor is Melancholia. That film hits in November, but his biggest movie release will be Battleship. That movie will hit Scottsdale theaters in 2012.
Fans are waiting to see what this actor does next on the big screen. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

Disconnect will be released to Scottsdale theaters in 2012.
