First season of ‘Love Live! School Idol Project’ dated for September

Anime and video game publisher NIS America today announced that it would be releasing the first season of the anime series “Love Live! School Idol Project” in North America in early September.

“Love Live! School Idol Project” takes place at Otonokizaka High, a school situated between the three towns of Akihabara, Kanda and Jimbocho. When Otonokizaka High is at risk of being closed down, second year student Honoka Kosaka steps up, along with eight others, to try and save their school, by becoming idols and advertising how great the school really is, in the hopes that more student will want to apply. NIS America will release a premium edition of “Love Live! School Idol Project” season one on September 2, 2014. The premium edition, $64.99, will include thirteen episodes on two Blu-ray discs, housed in NIS America’s premium edition slipcase, and packaged with a 28-page, full-color art book.
