Like many other organizations, the NBA has plenty of opportunities for college students interested in demonstrating their existing skills while being prepared to master more challenging endeavors by providing work environments that foster growth.

Specific stipulations for participating in the college intern program are listed on their website, however, to recap the main particulars, see below:

  • Full-time internships require availability for a minimum of 35 hours per M-F week and additionally some nights, weekends and holidays
  • Part-time internships require a minimum of 20 hours per M-F week
  • Academic course credit is a requirement of the program
  • Interns must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7

Course credit is a mandatory non-negotiable component of this program and documentation to substantiate compliance is required before acceptance into intern status.
