First photos of 'The Voice' season 4 coaches: see Shakira, Usher in their chairs (Photos)

NBC is giving fans of The Voice a New Year's Eve gift: the first four promotional photos showing off the coaching roster for the upcoming fourth season.

New stills of Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and incoming coaches Shakira and Usher were released by the network today and can be viewed in the slideshow at the top of this article.

NBC is continuing to keep The Voice in the headlines, even though the show just finished its season. On the same night that Team Blake's pop-rocker Cassadee Pope was named the winner of Season 3 - two weeks ago today - the network aired its first commercial spot for Season 4, which premieres at the end of March.

As for Cassadee, she's performing as part of Voice host Carson Daly's annual New Year's Eve special, which airs tonight on NBC. The show also features appearances by Levine, Shelton and outgoing coaches Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera, who are taking the upcoming season off to focus on their musical careers.

The Voice was renewed earlier this year for both Season 4 and Season 5. No announcement has been made on who will occupy the big red chairs in Season 5.
