First Night Missoula is proudly brought to the community by the Missoula Cultural Council (MCC). December 31, 2013 will be the 20th New Year’s Celebration. The Missoula Cultural Council also serves as advocates for public and private arts and cultural activities. The organization encourages collaborative efforts among local art organizations; educate community leaders and policy makers about the economic benefits of the arts. The MCC also celebrates the value of diverse cultures and helping Missoula and the surrounding areas understand their place in the world.
Admission buttons for the entire First Night Missoula event are $15, with children ages 7 and under free. The buttons are available at locations throughout Missoula and in the Bitterroot Valley beginning in early December. The button serves as an admission ticket for 80-plus events — including live music — in more than 30 locations around town.
