The screenshot is of the game’s cover athlete, Lebron James dribbling the ball up court. The attention to detail, including James’ trademark tattoos, as well as his notoriously high headband, are all shown in the shot of the game in action on the PlayStation 4.
According to the release, the next gen version of “NBA 2K14” has “ been completely built from the ground up to take advantage of the power of the next gen consoles.”
Last week 2K also released a video showing Oklahoma Thunder star Kevin Durant playing the game for the first time and praising the game’s enhanced gameplay on the PlayStation 3.
"The game plays really well," Durant, who is rated a 94-out-of-100 in "NBA 2K14," said in the video. "I been playing 'NBA 2K' for a long time and every year, it gets better. You can see all the small things like the way the players move and get to the rim, it's real."
"NBA 2K14" is now available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will be released on the PlayStation 4 on Nov. 11 and on the Xbox One on Nov. 22.
