With the "Band on the Run" reissue being released today, your thoughts might be turning to what album might be coming next in the McCartney reissue campaign.
Well, we've heard rumblings that the next albums to be reissued might be "McCartney" and "McCartney II." Those two albums were originally released 10 years apart -- "McCartney" was released in 1970, while "McCartney II" came out in 1980.
There are no other details yet as to when the next reissue is coming.

I want both of these as I have neither on CD. So a big thumbs up to this news (although the reissue I really want is Ram).
The Band on the Run 3 disc set has an insert showing McCartney, Ram, Venus & Mars, Speed of Sound, Wings Over America, and McCartney II as being the next CD's to be issued (no dates given).
Just as long as they aren't all released the same day I'm happy. I don't think my wallet could handle them all on the same day.
I do worry that at the end of all this, once we have bought a fair few if not all of them, there will be a boxset of them all in one go… and I'll be very annoyed if that happens…
