"Killing Kennedy" is an upcoming television event about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy from National Geographic Channel. John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy married on Sept. 12, 1953, so their 60th wedding anniversary would have been on Sept. 12, 2013. To mark the occasion of their Diamond Anniversary, National Geographic Channel released a first look video trailer of the mover, which is attached.
"Killing Kennedy" stars Rob Lowe as John. F. Kennedy (JFK) and Ginnifer Goodwin as Jackie Kennedy. The film also stars Will Rothhaar as Lee Harvey Oswald and Michelle Trachtenberg as Marina Oswald. The supporting cast includes Mary Pat Gleason as Lee Harvey Oswald's mother Marguerite, Francis Guinan as Vice President Lyndon Baines Johnson, Boris McGiver as FBI agent John Fair and Jack Noseworthy as Robert F. Kennedy.
The film, scheduled to premiere on Nov. 10, 2013, commemorates the 50 year anniversary assassination of President Kennedy while he was riding in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas. The film chronicles one of the most shocking events in the history of America as it follows the collision course of two men from very different backgrounds, John F. Kennedy and Lee Harvey Oswald. The story told in the film begins in 1959, when JFK and Oswald are at turning points in their lives.
The movie is based on the best selling book by Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard. The creative team includes director Nelson McCormick and writer Kelly Masterson.
