A new colorway of the Nike LeBron 11 was revealed on Thursday to much excitement in the community. The "Forging Iron" Nike LeBron 11 is comprised of what is being called "Urban Orange" and "Laser Orange" along with "Light Armory Blue". The upper is comprised of the variants of orange that gives it a very lava-like appearance while the lighter shade of blue can be found on the swoosh, logo on the tongue and translucent outsole.
With a color scheme that is very reminiscent of the popular "Big Bang" Nike LeBron 9 that James wore during the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, the "Forging Iron" name comes from the process of creating products with iron. For iron to be shaped into a desired form, they go through extreme conditions and are melted and subsequently molded into the desired piece. While it is being forged, the iron produces an orange color much like what you see on the shoe. The metallic light blue swoosh on the upper and logo on the tongue is result of that process. To take the metaphor even further, it could be symbolic of the basketball journey James has to go through to get to where he is today, forged through the immense pressure and heat.
There is no set release date for the "Forging Iron" so stay tuned here as more news begins to leak about this very exciting colorway of the Nike LeBron 11. The style code is as follows:
