A blue suede version of the Nike LeBron 11 EXT has made its way online on Monday and is giving people their first glimpse as to what Nike Sportswear has in store for LeBron James' latest signature shoe. With the sneaker world eagerly anticipating the arrival of these new EXT models after last year's highly successful run by the Nike LeBron 10 EXT, it looks like suede is once again be a popular material for Nike Sportswear to play around with.
Last season saw Nike Sportswear take the LeBron 10 and make it into a lifestyle shoe with various releases that used materials that typically are not seen in a basketball shoe. Nike Sportswear even so went so far as to warn people that these are not made for performance use. The Nike LeBron 11 EXT "Blue Suede" will do away with the Hyperposite material found on the upper but still maintain the shoe's hard edged look.
The leaked pair show does show hints of where Nike could potentially be going with future releases of the LeBron 11 EXT, but because of the poor picture quality it is hard to tell what kind of quality the suede is in and whether several other aspects of the shoe, such as the Zoom Air/Lunar combination and Flywire have been retained. The only thing that can be said with any kind of confidence is that these are not made for playing on the basketball court.
